Think about whether you are thinking clearly or feeling rushed, frustrated, overly excited, or tense.

Beginner tip: Strong emotions can make a trade feel more urgent or obvious than it really is.

2. Are you trading because you’re afraid of missing out?

Think about whether seeing price move fast is making you feel like you need to get in right away.

Beginner tip: FOMO can turn “I see an opportunity” into “I need to get in now.”

3. Are you trying to make back a loss?

Think about whether your last losing trade is influencing how badly you want this one.

Beginner tip: Revenge trading happens when recovering money becomes more important than waiting for a good decision.

4. Are you trading because you’re bored or just want action?

Think about whether wanting some action is making you more likely to take this trade.

Beginner tip: Wanting to stay busy can make an average trade suddenly look good enough.

5. Can you accept the loss before you take the trade?

Think about whether you can accept a planned loss without immediately trying to win the money back.

6. Are you willing to follow your rules on this trade?

Think about whether you will respect your plan even if price starts moving quickly or your emotions change.
