🗡️ Dagger Swing Trade Checklist
“I don't need to trust the stock. I need to trust my risk plan.”
A simple reference for entering a planned swing and giving it enough time to work. Define the risk, keep the position manageable, and avoid turning a swing trade into a day trade because of normal price movement or emotion.
1. Before the Swing
Make sure this is a planned setup, not a reaction to a stock already moving.
2. Define the Risk
Know what would prove the idea wrong before the trade starts testing your emotions.
3. Let the Swing Work
The setup triggered. Now the job is to follow the swing plan instead of reacting to every candle.
For your first 10 practice swings, don't judge the trade primarily by P&L. Build the habit of executing and holding according to the original plan.
A losing trade can still be good execution. A winning trade can still be poor execution.
